Both the Ducklings and Turtles rooms run alongside the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to enable staff to assess individual's current interests and levels of development and then in turn, plan fun and exciting activities that will allow the children to enhance their skills in all areas of learning. Records are kept for each child as they move through the nursery providing an invaluable record of their development. This can be in the form of photographs, examples of craft, mark making or written observations from the staff.

We pride ourselves on the close relationships built between staff and the children. We offer a key worker system that enables trusting relationships to be built between children and staff during a gradual induction for the child. We also involve parents and carers in their child's learning in a variety of ways.
