For the children aged 0-3 years, all activities are linked to the Birth to Three Matters framework, which is a series of recommendations and guidelines to maximise the development of each child. Records are kept for each child as they move through the nursery providing an invaluable record of their development. This can be in the form of photographs, examples of craft, mark making or written observations from the staff.

For the children aged 3-4 years, we follow the Early Learning Goals recommended by the Department for Education and Skills (DfES). These are a series of guidelines which helps us structure each child's learning to help develop to their full potential whilst having lots of fun in the process. It also provides an excellent foundation to prepare the children for starting school.
